Tractor decisions
Make the quotation describe the tractor you actually need.
Organise your questions around the work and the offered specification. Then make sure every supplier is quoting the same requirement.
Four decisions to put in writing.
- The work: describe tillage, transport or another task, with the terrain and operating conditions that matter.
- The equipment interface: identify existing attachments and ask for power, linkage, PTO, hydraulic and weight requirements to be checked.
- The offered machine: confirm its exact model, condition, drive configuration, tyres, accessories and documents.
- The destination: give the Nigerian delivery context and ask which transport stages the offer includes.
A model label does not establish that all offered units share the same specification or condition.

Compare on the same basis
Use a short offer checklist.
| Part of the offer | Question to resolve |
|---|---|
| Identification | What exact model, condition and configuration is being offered? |
| Technical fit | What information confirms compatibility with the intended attachments and farm work? |
| Evidence | Can the seller supply current dated images, identification details and suitable inspection access? |
| After purchase | What documentation, maintenance information, parts support and warranty terms, if any, are included? |
| Nigeria destination | Which named place and delivery term apply, and which destination charges remain for the buyer? |
Useful clarifications
Keep these distinctions clear.
Can the website choose a tractor for me automatically?
No. It helps structure your enquiry. Suitability needs the actual specifications, attachments and operating conditions to be reviewed.
Do the images mean the pictured tractor is available now?
No. They are reference product photographs. Ask for current availability and evidence of the exact machine being quoted.
Can I request a tractor and implements together?
Yes. Select a mixed requirement in the builder and list the jobs or tools. Ask for compatibility and each item’s specification to be confirmed.
Your next practical step
Put the job and machine details in one message.
Turn your requirement into an editable message. Review it before writing your email.
